OUR ORGANISATION

We obtained our charter from Le Registraire des entreprises du Québec on January 7, 2011: our non-profit organization is registered under the reference number 1167040238 under the terms of la Partie III de la Loi sur les compagnies du Québec.

We did limit our Board of Directors to the three founders because of the high level of safety and confidentiality required by our mission for all sexual minorities and by the collaboration with our partners. Our company's regulations will however be published on this Web page and will envisage the greatest possible participation of those who may want to support our mission and our action.

The friends of all sexual minorities (TFAMS / LATMS)

Even if at first sight the terms « friends » may seem coming from another time and may evoke a certain naivety, they express very well our three lines of force. First, The friends recall that this organization was born after a long taming, thanks to the friendship bonds nourished by the challenge of reciprocal confidence, authenticity and courage. LATMS (TFAMS) was created with -- and for -- our paedophiles and pederasts friends, but we are ready to offer the same attentive and respectful listening to all taboo sexual minorities.

Secondly, by these two first words of its name, LATMS straightaway asserts itself as a network of people, a synergy of personal processes respectful of individual rhythms: taming, opening and listening cannot be commanded and are no matter of organization nor of structure but rather of attitudes and emotions.

Lastly, to exclusion, taboo, prejudice and phobia, we oppose meeting, friendship and inclusion.


OUR MISSION

  1. To present, explain and diffuse into society and by the suitable mediaFor example: articles and open-letters in newspapers or magazines, radio and TV interviews, books, Web-sites, forums and email on the Internet, etc., an inclusive visionWe currently work on the draft of a text presenting our vision on the diversity among emotional and sexual orientations and sexual minorities, on the taboos and phobias that some still cause and on the persistent confusion between « in love and/or sexual desire orientation » and « behavior ». of all sexual minorities which rests on the concerned people intimate experimentBy privileging the direct knowledge they have of themselves and of which they can testify rather than perceptions and external interpretations. and on an objectiveRather than ideological or academic concept of « in love and/or sexual desire orientation ».

  2. In the respect of Canadian Laws, but without however restricting their right to speak and their freedom of expression in accordance with the Quebec and Canada's Charters of Rights and FreedomsWe consider that these Charters which prohibit sexual orientation discrimination must apply to all affective and sexual orientations…. without discrimination., to play various intermediary (middleman) rolesFor example: to rent a service or a good, to pay by check or credit card, to cash payments or donations, to communicate in person, etc, when their anonymityFor example: being given the taboo and the current level of prejudice and misinformation, it is very risky, as much for their professional than personal life, for paedophiles or pederasts people in charge of ressources or services intended for a paedophile and pederast population to act openly and to use their identity. It is also extremely rare that people agree to be associated to them closely or by far. is necessary, for people, groups or organizations belonging to any of these sexual minorities so that they can take part in public debates and carry out their legitimate objectives, taking guard however, doing this, not to be nor to become the spokesman or the representative of their assertions, their claims or their fights.

  3. To gather together, to inform, to animate and support the peopleFor example: mental health and social services professionals, lawyers, police officers and rehabilitation social-workers; parents, children or friends of people belonging to the one of these sexual minorities; researchers, University professors or journalists or even any person who wish to look further into and explore their own sexuality, etc who want to discover and better understand the various sexual minorities reality and who wish to take part in researches, reflections and debates on this subject.

  4. To get, for the purposes mentioned above, funds and other goods by way of public subscription; to receive and manage, for the same goals, gifts, legacies and other contributions of comparable nature, in money, real estate or stock of securities.


OUR ORIGINE

The specific situation which led us to found LATMS is the almost insuperable obstacle which blocked the development of the community resources that a group of pederasts and paedophiles had worked to build for several years: contracts to be signed and payments to make that the need for preserving their anonymity made impossible.

But we could never have made this decision if we had not already undertaken, two years ago, to create and publish the Web portal http://minoritessexuelles.net, and if this step itself had not been prepared by nearly 20 years of a long plowing through the paths of our own self-fulfillment and the rubbles of our prejudices and our fears.

Whether meeting an expressed need or of our own initiative, here are some confidential services that we could render and some discrete or public activities that we could organize in order to allow people from taboo sexual minorities to speak and to take part in the public debates related to them:

To keep a bank account and to receive and cash donationsLATMS does not finance and does not organize funds collect. The expenses incurred by LATMS are covered by those who benefit from its middleman services., subscriptions or Web-hosting fees. To carry out payment by check or credit card for renting a meeting hall or registering a domain name. To reserve and rent a conference room. To pay advertising. To take a phone line subscription for a reference or support service. To negotiate and sign a service contract, a collaboration agreement, etc.

We are ready to serve first the French-speaking World but we will extend our sphere of activity as far as our collaborators bilingualism will allow us or the bilingualism of those which require our services.

To organize and animate a meetingIn the organization and the running of its activities, LATMS takes great care to protect the anonymity of the collaborators and the participants who need it., a mutual support group, an information or sensitizing meeting. To publish and maintain a Web-site. To give interviews. To write and publish a book. To give a conference. To initiate an opinion poll or to carry out a social inquiry. To write or to publish books, articles or open letters. To meet representatives, speakers, activists, researchers. Etc.

Apart from the Internet, we want to act initially and above all in Quebec. However, as far as our collaborators resources and our adequate comprehension of the other cultures and legal conditions, we could undertake or support particular international actions.
